Anyone dealing with German Watch manufacturers must take a brief excursion into history. Accordingly, a certain blacksmith and watchmaker Peter Henlein began making small and handy Watches as early as the 16th century. With the first pocket Watch factory in Pforzheim, established in the 18th century, the Watch industry was finally able to establish itself in the age of industrialization. Luxury Brands from Germany

Switzerland leads in perception in the field of luxury Watches, but with the following brands, many people will recognize that numerous German Watch manufacturers can also assert themselves in this segment. We want to introduce a few selected manufacturers:

• A. Lange & Söhne: Ferdinand Adolph Lange founded a Watch manufactory in Glashütte in 1845, laying the foundation for one of the most successful brands from Germany. Besides the sophisticated design, the significantly large date display is a feature that distinguishes the luxury Watches from A. Lange & Söhne .
• Glashütte Original: The success of Glashütte Original is primarily thanks to Alfred Helwig, who learned his craft from master watchmaker Gustav Dunkel and at the German Watchmaking School Glashütte . The "Masterpieces" series with the limited models "Alfred Helwig Tourbillon" and "Alfred Helwig Tourbillon 2" was the company's tribute to one of the most innovative minds of his time.
• Montblanc: The brand "Montblanc" is primarily associated with ballpoint pens and valuable writing instruments. However, the company has also established itself in the field of luxury Watches and brought numerous high-quality models from the house of "Montblanc" to the market.
