The Schaffhausen watch factory was founded in 1868 by the American engineer Florenca A. Jones, who sold the company to the Swiss Johannes Rauschenbach in 1875. Rauschenbach’s inherits were skilled at establishing the company and guided it securely through the first decades of the 20th century. The company is considered as one of the most prestigious Swiss watch manufacturers. The best-known models are: Aquatimer, Ingenieur, Portofino, Porsche Design, Mark Collection, Spitfire, Flieger Chronograph and Da Vinci.
