With water resistance, a little caution is always advised. The specifications in meters easily tempt the watch wearer to expose the luxury watches to extreme conditions. For example, if a watch has a water resistance of 30 meters, it withstands a pressure of 3 bar. Even a water jet can sometimes have more bar and can already cause significant damage. In principle, divers should thoroughly inform themselves before diving whether the watch is really suitable for it. The legendary classics definitely are, but this can really vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.

The Most Famous Dive Watches on the Market

The most famous Dive Watch is certainly the Rolex Submariner, which is very popular both as a modern and as a vintage variant. Selected models can quickly cost more than 70,000 euros if they date from the 60s and 70s. The Seamaster from Omega and the Superocean from Breitling also fall into this category.

Also appealing are the Seiko Prospex, the TAG Heuer Aquaracer, or LinkPanerai Luminor Submersible, all of which operate at a high level both technically and visually.

Price for a Dive Watch

The price can vary quite a bit, after all, there are sought-after Dive Watches as vintage models with a high increase in value.
