Glashütte is considered the heart of German watchmaking and is home to numerous internationally renowned watch manufacturers. Those who want to experience the fascination of fine mechanics up close can take a behind-the-scenes look at selected manufacturers and watch the watchmakers at their precise work. All Brands regularly offer factory tours, but prior registration or appointment is required. This provides a rare opportunity to experience the traditional craftsmanship directly at its place of origin.

Visit the manufactory at Mühle Glashütte

Mühle Glashütte offers its visitors a factory tour that provides unique insights into the production of the Watches. You will experience the entire process from the manufacturing of individual components through the finishing to the assembly and regulation of the Watches on the test benches. The tours through the manufactory of Mühle Glashütte are offered in German and English.

NOMOS Glashütte – NOMOS Department Store

At NOMOS, no public tours are offered. However, it is not impossible to get a behind-the-scenes look, as individual requests for registered groups or professionals have been positively answered several times. A good opportunity to get familiar with the brand is the NOMOS Department Store (Hauptstraße 12 - 01768 Glashütte). Various models, Vintage variants, and accessories are exhibited here.

Tours of Glashütte Original

The traditional company does not offer regular public tours of the manufactory. Visits are arranged individually through customer service or authorized dealers for professionals, customers, and reader trips. The tour at Glashütte Original showcases the high level of in-house production, including dial manufacturing, toolmaking, chiseling, and engraving work.

Visit the manufactory at A. Lange & Söhne

The workshops of A. Lange & Söhne are opened upon individual request for professionals and collectors. Visitors can familiarize themselves with the philosophy of double assembly and gain rare insights into watchmaking art.

Watch Museum in Glashütte

If a manufactory visit does not work out, you still have the German Watch Museum. The museum regularly opens its doors, and more than 4,000 exhibits can be admired. Guided tours are also offered, creating a connection to the production in this way.
