A defining feature of NOMOS Glashütte is the exceptionally high level of in-house manufacturing combined with genuine manufacture calibers, which are still offered at attractive prices. A central role is played by the NOMOS Swing System, which allowed the brand to break free from dependence on Swiss suppliers and independently produce the entire escapement with balance wheel, hairspring, anchor, and escape wheel. The neomatik calibers DUW 3001 and DUW 6101 enable the particularly slim design that characterizes many NOMOS watches. The manufacture draws on traditional Glashütte features such as the three-quarter plate, striping finish, and heat-blued screws.

The manufacturing of NOMOS Watches takes place in Glashütte, but the in-house creative and design agency „Berlinerblau“ is located right in the trendy Berlin-Kreuzberg. This is where the dials, campaigns, and case designs are created.
