When collecting watches, it pays to know your own style and stay true to it. A small, carefully curated collection that matches your personality brings more long-term joy than a confusing assortment. Watches are always a statement – and they should reflect who you are.
I was born in Milan in 1976 and discovered my passion for watches at an early age – inspired by my father’s timepieces, which he wore and cared for with great dedication. After studying art history, I first worked for several years in the luxury goods marketing sector before moving to the Swiss watch industry in 2005. There I worked for international brands such as Jaeger-LeCoultre and IWC, gaining insights into design processes, brand management, and technical development. In 2012 I became self-employed as an author and consultant in the watch segment. Today, I write regularly for renowned magazines, give lectures at watch fairs, and support collectors in curating exclusive collections.
